Comet ATLAS over Cann River, East Gippsland

Camping at Cann River in East Gippsland in January 2025, I caught Comet C/2024 G3 (ATLAS) low over the hills in the western sky, its tail fanning up from the horizon.
This 'sun-skirting' comet swung extremely close to the Sun and became the brightest comet of the year, putting on its show for Southern Hemisphere skies for only a few weeks before fading. A couple of satellite or meteor trails cross the sky above it.
